About Us

The Capital Cowboy Church, formerly The Cowboy Church of Travis County, features a “come as you are” western heritage fellowship and functions non-denominationally.  Our emphasis is to reach out to cowboys, cowgirls and all who find comfort in western culture and help them experience the grace of God and love of Jesus Christ.

Capital Cowboy Church is now meeting on their own property, located at 8399 Niederwald Strasse Road (also known as FM 2001) Kyle, Texas  78640.  Directions are as follows:

From South IH35 in Buda, take the Niederwald – FM 2001 exit and head east.  FM 2001 is the first turn you come to, approximately 1,000 feet off of IH-35.  There is a sign indicating FM 2001 turns to the right.  There is a Fire Station on the corner.  Go down FM 2001 for 9 miles (when you are getting close, you will curve to the right and you will see Kai Vista Road on the left; you will then pass a plant nursery on your left; then you will see Johnson Lane on the right side of the road; and then you will see Engelke Road on your left.)  The church property is located on the left side of the road and there is a orangy-yellow sign on the fence with the street address on it (8399) and there is a small pond in front.  If you look closely you will see a reddish-colored box container setting way off the road.  There is a home located right before our land, and there is an abandoned house just past our property.  If you reach Windridge Drive on the right side you have gone too far.

Church services begin at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays.
